When he was 23 years old, Gilles Saint-Gilles envisioned a completely minimalist and transparent space that would connect the garden and street on either side of his apartment through a corridor of wind and light. A hand-polished and lacquered plaster wall of suspended panels is molded into a fluid shape. Lights are set within the hollow structure to create a wave of light.

A reflecting pool coffee table absorbs the tranquility of this meditative space. Mirrors along the fireplace wall open up the area and provide continuity. The dining room, furnished with modern Saarinen and Joe Colombo pieces, is complemented by a rounded smoky glass wall to maintain the openness of the space.
